9 Types of Specialty in Mobile Legends
In addition to Role, the heroes at Mobile Legends also have one more grouping, namely Specialty. But unlike the obvious role, what is meant by Specialty is that we have a somewhat less understood definition, in games too rarely touched upon. Then what is the meaning of Specialty in Mobile Legends?
Specialty is arguably the skill of each hero used to fight. There are 9 kinds of specialty, namely Regen, Crowd Control, Reap, Charge, Push, Damage, Burst Damage, Poke, and Initiator. Here I will explain about the specialty.
Regen
Regen is the specialty assigned to heroes, who usually have the ability to regenerate HP for themselves or allies, without the need of Physical Lifesteal, Magic Lifesteal and Spell Vamp from the Equipment Shop or select Emblems & Talents that may grant the hero any sort of healing.
Regen Heroes posses skills that allow them to heal themselves or their own team (ex: Rafaela's Holy Healing and Khaleed's Quicksand Guard) or Heroes having skills that provide Physical Lifesteal, Magic Lifesteal, and Spell Vamp (ex: Ruby's Let's Dance! and Yu Zhong's Cursing Touch).

Crowd Control
Crowd Control is a specialty assigned to heroes that are capable of controlling multiple enemies at once by their Crowd Control skills that enable them to set up teamfights, set defensive plays and set aggressive plays. (ex: Minotaur's Minoan Fury and Tigreal's Implosion).
Reap
Reap is a specialty given to heroes who have capabilities to immediately execute a target by using skills that benefits from killing an enemy hero (ex: Martis' Decimate and Karina's Shadow Assault), skills that can execute an enemy hero swiftly (ex: Saber's Triple Sweep and Natalia's Assassin Instinct), having Basic Attack that can kill enemies from a distance (ex: Wanwan's Crossbow of Tang and Layla's Destruction Rush), or execution skills that deal damage based on target's lost HP (ex: Granger's Death Sonata).
Charge
Charge refers to the specialty of a hero to charging into fights by having blink skills (ex: Alpha's Alpha, Charge! and Kadita's Ocean Oddity) or charging in with increased Movement Speed (ex: Faramis' Shadow Stampede).
Push
Push is a specialty assigned to heroes that can take turrets by having skills that can damage turrets (ex: Masha's Wild Power and Bane's Deadly Catch, having high Attack Speed (ex: Helcurt's Dark Night Falls), or diverting enemies away from their own turret (ex: Lylia's Shadow Energy).
Damage
Damage is a specialty assigned to heroes that can deal more damage over time by Basic Attack (ex: Karrie's Light Wheel Mark and Hanabi's Ninjutsu Petal Barrage), having a skill that can deal a tremendous amount of damage over time (ex: Freya's Spirit Combo and Baxia's Shield of Spirit) or linking enemy heroes to each other that makes them share the same amount of damage (ex: Carmilla's Curse of Blood).
Burst
Burst refers to the specialty of a hero to instantly burst an enemy hero by having a skill that deals an enormous amount of damage in a short duration (ex: Brody's Torn-Apart Memory and Benedetta's Alecto: Final Blow), bursting enemies from a far distance (ex: Chang'e's Meteor Shower and Lesley's Ultimate Snipe) or bursting through a series of skill combinations (ex: Gusion's Shadowblade Slaughter or Lancelot's Phantom Execution).
Poke
Poke is the specialty assigned to heroes that has capabilities that enable them to deal damage from a far distance while striking from a safe distance by having skills with a large range (ex: Pharsa's Feathered Air Strike and Cecilion's Bat Impact) or skills that can remain on the ground for a short period of time (ex: Nana's Molina Smooch and Diggie's Auto Alarm Bomb).
